How many similiraties have you noticed with the Tolkien books and for example the Kalevala?
There's one story that's so alike, the tale of Hurin or Turin..don't remember.. I tend to mixe those two... ...anyways..in the Kalevala there's this guy called Kullervo and his tale is very alike to Turin's tale first he thinks that his entire family has been killed then he meets her sister they are together and then they become concious of the fact that they're sister and brother and then the sister killes herself...
In the book of lost tales you can read the story about Túrin Turambar and what happende with her sister Nienor...
I think it's fascinating that you can find such similiraties.. and to know That Tolkien actually used some stories he found in the Kalevala
