so who's the bravest, personally think it's Frodo..or anyone of the hobbits really you know the small people who achived something bigger than the world they live in...
so Frodo because: "I will take the ring, though I do not know the way." a brave decision by such a small person..
the second one I'll choose is Sam because of how he stuck with Frodo all the way. He could have easily thought 'This is gettin to much for me, I'm going back!' but he never, because of his loyalty and true friendship towards Frodo.

sweet little Samwise. I mean, obviously Frodo is as well for offering to take the Ring into Mordor in the first place, but Sam stuck by him all the way, right into the face of death.

I voted for Frodo. He took such a brave decision.

I also voted for Frodo. I don't think any explanations are needed.

Sam.. no doubt.. Although Frodo was brave to offer to take on the challenge, he would never have made it without Sam. And Sam had to put up with not only the dangers faced by both, but also Frodo's power struggles..

Gimli in my eyes is the bravest. He overcame many things in the movies. His dislike for elves, his fear of heights, his fear of being alone, his shortness (second movie beginning when the group was running to find the hobbits, his fear of being ridiculed(when Aragon threw him across to the drawbridge, and a couple others. It takes a lot of bravery to face things that you fear or make you uncomfortable. This is the reason I choose Gimli.

I don't quite agree with you, I mean being brave doesn't mean you have visible super powers and that you kill a lot of monsters, being brave is something else. Being brave is to have an inner strengh. You hold on to your decisions even if you know it might claim your life. Being brave is not a simple thing you know. Derrin that's an intresting point of view I've never thought of Gimli in that way before. Especially not when reading the books, but maybe in the movie we see more of Gimli.

I voted for Sam, I think he is braver than Frodo because on the road to mordor Frodo in fact had some strength through the ring and was affected by the ring, but Sam walked with his eyes open against all the scary things from his bedtime stories with no super powers but being just a humble hobbit who loved his friend.
After this I have to agree with Derrin quite strongly, I haven't either thought about Gimlis bravery in that way.
