I've just read "the queen's fool" by Philippa Gregory, a quite ok novel, though, I personally like "the other boleyn girl" more. But, I really hope I'll get to read the next book in her series about the English court... "The Virgin's Lover" which is about Robert Dudley and Queen Elisabeth I.

I'm reading An Instance of The Fingerpost by Iain Pears, a historical mystery set in England during the Restoration period (when Cromwell was defeated and the Monarchy re-instated). So far, so very good.

I'm reading Herodotus: Histories. In fact a history book, but it's really interesting, telling the stories of the Greece and the Persians, from something like 400BC and before. It's really just perfect after a reading of Gemmel's Lion of Macedon and Dark Prince, and after seing the movie Troy.

I just re-read "Bitten" by Kelley Armstrong. A brilliant thriller, bordering on the line of Fantasy. It's about werewolves, and their fight for survival in the modern day world. The main character is Elena, who is the only female werewolf, ever to have existed. She has problems accepting her werewolf traits and she has tried to deny the werewolf within her, by living in a city, far away from the woods. But then something happens... someone startscausing troubles to her former pack... She has to face the werewolf within herself, and her former lover, Clay, who was the one who turned her into a werewolf. It's a fascinating story, and you can find prequels for the book online for free on the author's website. www.kelleyarmstrong.comI haven't read the second book in the otherworld series, but I hope it will be as good as this one!
