Crossroads of Twilight « Thread Started on May 3, 2004, 1:01pm »
Started reading the book last night, almost read the whole prologue (100 pages)..And I must admit that this time the prologue was very good, except it's 1 ½ since I read the WoT books. So I tend to not remember the resent events. I wonder if you can find a summary of the 9 previous books somewhere?
Anyways, looking forward seeing what'll happen. Since the last book ended in such a good way. I'll post more comments later, but what did you other think of the book? And please mark the spoilers..

Denna, this site: http://www.sevenspokes.com/index.html has extensive chronologies of the events in each book, maps, character profiles and more, apartfrom being very beautifully designed. One of the best WoT resources around, i think.
I'll have to fo read the summary there and recall my opinions on CoT before discussing the book!

I finally finished CoT last thursday. I was quite disappointed with the book. I didn't like it at all because there hardly happened anything in it.
The funny thing was that even though how bad I thought the book was there still happened some stuff in the end of the book that makes me really want to read more...

I have noticed that as well. It seems like he is dragging out the storyline too much. But I'll keep reading since I'm hooked!
Yeah, I really look forward to reading about the final battle that supposed to take place soon. I mean after 10 books you would think they would have made atleast a little progress?
I sincerely hope that there will be more action in the next book!
And I still want to know if they really succeded in taking away the taint from the male powers.
