What am I doing here? « Thread Started on Apr 15, 2008, 11:15pm »
So, I am a 31 years old guy from Croatia, and I like to read books. Of course, I like fantasy best.
Why am I here?
My girlfriend found out today that we will be going to Helsinki in september. So I went surfing to see what goes on in Finland, and I stumbled upon this forum.
So... what can you tell me about touristic sites in Helsinki?

Well, welcome to the forum!
Touristic sites in Helsinki? Well there's much to see that I can say... But I guess it also depends on what you are intrested in seeing. So what are you intrested in seeing?

Welll... you know... ordinary stuff... old castles, underground caves, dungeons, dragon lairs, NLO landings... the usuall.
I've seen there's an interesting church in Helsinki... something half burried in rock. And some kind of sea fortress.
Are there some kinds of fantasy pubs or something? Or ancient archeology landmarks?

Hello there zoran and welcome to the Lair
Well the sea fortress would be Suomenlinna and I really recommend visiting that place. I loved it when I was there. Then there is of course different museums... the National Museum of Finland being one of them. It is a great place particularly if you are interested in history.
Fantasy pubs or UFOs I don't know about, and I don't think you can find Santa in Helsinki...for that you have to go to Rovaniemi.
